The current COVID-19 pandemic starkly illuminates the interconnectedness of all nations regarding the health and safety of their citizens and visitors. Through support from NAB PILOT, the AWARN Alliance conducted an exploratory study of the potential interoperability between ATSC 3.0, DVB, and ISDB for Advanced Emergency Alerting. This panel brings together experts from the U.S., Europe, and Japan to discuss our findings and explore the opportunities for a harmonized approach to global emergency messaging.
